meaning "small fire," hourig volcano is not a big threat to the vulcans. it occasionally sends up clouds of ash but it has never actually spit out lava. it is large and towers over every mount in the land of khushid.

meaning "female who invites," the izanami flatlands are warm and, well, flat. they extend as far as the eye can see in every direction with the occasional tree, but most are fairly small.

meaning "kingfisher," the alcyone forest is moist and warm. it is lush with it's undergrowth and the trees are beautifully green. sunlight itself is green, giving the forest an emerald look.

meaning "water," the mayim waterfall fall into the lake below it and hides the caves beyond it. it is large and wide, falling in it's greatness. you can hear it from a mile away and the site of it takes the breath away of those who haven't already seen it.

meaning "salt," this huge mountain is covered in various salt fields, making it appear white all year round. however, grass does grow in some areas and a river runs down the side of it, creating a perfect oasis.

meaning "star," the astraea forest is a small thicket of trees and bushes. more often than not the sky is unblocked by trees, easily letting those below see the sky above. flowers are known to grow in a hidden patch somewhere within here.

meaning "rainbow lady," the ixchel forest is lush and full of life. it is larger than the astraea forest but smaller than the aditi forest. it is easy to get lost in this forest, however, since it is so immensely large.

meaning "earth mother," the demeter mountain rises high into the sky in the arvid territory. it's not quite as tall as the hourig volcano, but it is still quite large. it is said that a large landslide brought the tiamat rock to the ixchel forest, but it is only a theory.

meaning "cloud," hodei mount is the largest mount around, other than the hourig volcano of course. it is the most sacred place in the vayu territory and is where they worship the ancients. it is said that at the top is where the ancients' homes are.

named after the third brightest star in the sky, the swati mountain range extends along the vayu territory. the tallest peaks are covered in snow all year round and salt patches scatter the edges of the mountains. deep valleys create secret passages through the mountains as well.
